Dear God,
Please wrap Your arms around the woman reading these words right now. You see the deep, quiet spaces of her heart and the desires that remain unmet. You know exactly how long she has been holding on—the months, the years, and the many tearful prayers she’s whispered in the dark.
Lord, You aren’t distant from her disappointment. You see the moments when her strength wavers and her faith feels thin. In the tension between hoping for a breakthrough and dealing with the reality of “not yet,” please meet her with Your peace.
When the wait feels heavy and the silence feels loud, remind her that she is not forgotten. Give her the endurance to keep standing and the grace to be honest with You when she’s weary. Replace her heaviness with the steadying truth of Psalm 107:9:
“For he satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul he fills with good things.”
Fill the empty spaces in her life with Your presence. Help her find a wholeness that isn’t dependent on a change in her circumstances, but on the constancy of Your love. Soften the ache of her longings with the assurance that You are both all-powerful and infinitely kind.
We trust that Your timing is purposeful and that Your plans for her are good. Give her a reason to smile today, knowing she is seen, she is loved, and she is never walking this path alone.

This prayer was timely! Today, I found myself feeling an overwhelming sense of disappointment and discouragement around some desires I’ve been carrying and praying about. I prayed a genuine and honest prayer to the Father and He didn’t immediately respond with comfort or peace. I casually listened for Him all day. As I’m winding down the night and checking emails, I stumbled upon this newsletter and prayer that reminded me that He hears me, He sees me, and in His perfect timing, He will respond. I find peace in that alone! Thank you!
