DESCRIPTION:Peculiar On Purpose is dedicated to intentional community building\,\nso let’s grow together and in our faith as we follow Christ’s example of serving others!\nJoin us for our Girls + Gardens Community Service Event as we partner with Oak Cliff Veggie Project (OCVP) to serve in their 10th Street Community Garden! This event is part of OCVP’s monthly “Cultivate The Community” event series. \nLet’s roll up our sleeves and get to work as we help this amazing organization cultivate this historic garden while handing out fresh produce to the local community. During this event\, we will: \n\nSort and distribute fresh produce;\nHull and rake mulch\, pull weeds\, and lay compost;\nHelp with garden preparation;\nAnd much more.\n\nReminders\nVolunteers should arrive by 9am.\nDress in comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty.\nLong sleeves and/or bug spray is recommended since we will be outside working in a garden.\nDon’t forget to bring water!\n\nPhotos and video will be taken during event.
